Sound&Vision 9th Oct

In todays session we had our first attempt at doing some stop-take animation working in a team of 3. I worked with Mandy and Simon and we came up with the idea of using a stuffed toy and telling its story of eating some crisps...it was just before lunch that I thought of this (maybe I was hungry!).

I think the end 5 seconds work the best because by that point we had got into the rhythm of it and also had worked out how little to move the toy and the crisp packet without it looking too jumpy.

Taking inspiration from Magnum in Motion our "homework" for this week was to take 6 pictures to create a photo montage of a place to create atmosphere. I chose to use the pub where I work as it is a very traditional looking pub and through my pictures I tried to convey a sense of tradition and 'old-ness' (for want of a better word...)

We were also asked to take an expressive self portrait. I struggled to think how to make it expressive but also what I wanted to express so settled for something that shows my interest in films and music.
